Job Description
As an Account Director, you will be on the ground floor of a critical and growing customer connection. Working with the guidance of the CSO and the executive team, your success will significantly impact the growth of our business through new customer acquisitions. The Account Director is also expected to play a key role in analyzing successes and providing ongoing feedback on product features and pricing strategy.
You are an ideal fit for this role if you can
- Drive and close new business opportunities selling Lytica’s enterprise software platform
- Use knowledge of industry, technology, processes, and consultative sales skills to assess and educate customers on the full value proposition of our products
- Fulfill a wide range of requests for information from prospective clients; qualify the type of opportunity and follow a proven process to win the deal
- Develop in-depth knowledge of client’s business priorities, challenges, and initiatives that can be translated into opportunities for us to win their business
- Advance sales campaigns in a needs-based and highly participative fashion including consultative dialog and cross-functional engagement
- Effectively coordinate and support internal teams and supporting technical resources
- Effectively leverage a modern approach to sales and sales operations
- CRM knowledge and rigorous use are viewed as a necessity, not a burden
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Capable of understanding and leveraging industry/market trends and basic business/finance concepts
- Ability to analyze and evaluate data, develop an individual sales plan, and accurately forecast results
- Prepare quotations and proposals as required.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of demonstrable experience selling enterprise software and services to the Fortune 250
- Experience in piercing the armor of new accounts with first-to-market, groundbreaking innovative technology
- Ability to give a comprehensive presentation to both a technically and commercially oriented audience
- Proven expertise in successful account and territory development
- Broad, existing worldwide account relationships
- Works comfortably at all levels within the Customer’s Org
- Ability to influence both Customer decision-makers and Lytica Sales leadership
- Can effectively manage significant amounts of data using various IT systems and tools (Hubspot, Excel)
- Works effectively both in a cooperative team environment and independently to maximize results
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Business would be helpful.
